Hurrah, hurrah!I finally got my Canon SD1100 camera from Amazon in the mail after a long agonizing 9 days (silly me chose Super Saver Shipping…tsk tsk.) It was worth the wait as I am now enjoying the fruits of a much faster, more compact camera than what I had been using before. I never really had the desire for a camera until recently when I saw the value my hunny had in taking pictures of anything and everything. I have come to follow suit with my iPhone and now this handy camera which I think I purchased for the fact that it can do fairly decent video. To go with it, I got an 8GB card. The bf tells me that I’m crazy to get such a huge card, but I think for my trip to California next month, it’s well justified. And of course, with one purchase, trickles many others. On top of the 8GB card, I also got the case and a Flickr Pro account. I hope I get the opportunity to get out there and take some pictures.
I don’t have to impress you.

Here I am, once again….again.
ra-se-n.net, since its inception in 2005, has become one of those domains that houses a blog that is barely updated with content and is more often updated with layout changes and code experimentation. I really don’t know what I have in store this time around as far as content goes. When doing a Google search on “why blogs fail,” I think this blog is headed down that path. When it comes down to it, I guess I don’t really care if it does. Putting this together again and again has been fun and reminiscent of what I really went to college for. For those of you who know what I do for a living now, it’s almost laughable.
The expectation I have for this blog will probably what it always has been; this blog is more for myself than for anyone else.
Here’s to looooow hopes.
